Job Description

  • To teach English, English Literature, Drama, and other related subjects in the international department
  • To design a syllabus, teaching plans, coursework, and examination papers
  • To organize effective class activities and maintain teaching journals
  • Communicate with colleagues and parents about students’ issues on a regular basis.
  • Participate in professional development, meetings, school functions, and retreats.
  • Students age: 15-18 years old
  • Class size: around 20 students per class

Qualifications

  • Native English speaker
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in TESOL/TEFL etc. (strongly preferred)
  • Rich Teaching experience in teaching English, English Literature, Drama, and other related subjects
  • Teaching certificate (CELTA, TESOL, or TKT/Teaching License/Diploma preferred)
  • Being adept at providing the best possible learning process and environment for students
  • Being adept at instructing students on developing academic and non-academic skills

Further Requirements

  • Good skills in classroom management, communication, and understanding of students’ individual study methods and needs.
    Diverse teaching methods and the ability to inspire students.
  • Full of love, patience, responsibility, and good teacher’s ethics and professional conduct.
  • Have experience in teaching EAP
  • Willing to offer optional courses (any second language courses or any other courses based on personal interest) or supervise student club
  • Have experience in teaching EAP in Grade 12, college, or bridging/pathway program

Benefits

  • Working hours: 8:00 am-5:00 pm on weekdays, weekends off (Sat.&Sun), two days off
  • Working hours: at least 18-20 teaching hours per week
  • Boarding & Catering: provided according to individual needs.
  • Salary: 30,000 US$- 70,000 US$ USD per year
